Hooray!

I realize I lack consistency here at devART, but life hasn't allowed much free time these last few months.

I've finally found closure in my college search! I was accepted by four of the nine schools I applied to, denied by three, and wait-listed by two. I decided I would enroll at one of the colleges I was accepted at, but that I would still try my luck with the two schools that wait-listed me. To my surprise, I was pulled off the wait list at Lafayette College, my favorite of the two. Better yet, an admissions officer informed me that only ten students were offered admission from the 500-large wait list - not to toot my own horn. So I'm happy to say that I've graduated high school and I'll be attending Lafayette in the fall.

Work shouldn't keep me too tied up this summer, so expect to see activity from me in one form or another.
